1. Who was present “in the beginning”?

a. Genesis 1:   God…Elohim

b. Genesis 1:2   Holy Spirit

     e. John 1:1-3   The  Word….(Jesus)   and The Word was God

2 The word GOD (ELOHIM ) in verse 1 is in the plural form.  Why? 
Our God is a Triune God… 3 persons in one….The Trinity was present

3. According to Psalms 102:25-27, what did God do?
     Laid the foundation of the earth and the heavens


 

4.  What 4 words tell us there was nothing before God.?

     In the beginning GOD.    God was already there…in the beginning.  Surrounded by the beginning…not at the beginning…See Notes page 1

 

5.  What was the state of things before God spoke?
      Without form, void, dark.

 

6.  Which verses used in this lesson or in the notes show:

 

     a. God the Father's plans were carried out by God the Word?

7. Who wrote Genesis?

     Moses, through the leading of the Holy Spirit, wrote the Pentateuch.
